We have recently amended the Positions feature and released a new page — Analytics. Our team has been inspired by this update, which has evolved into a more flexible and robust tool that will benefit our users.
The previous Positions feature only allowed a trader to have tracked profit/loss for an asset that was bought. If the price of an asset went up, Positions showed a percentile change gain. If the trader sold the asset at that price, the trader would be in profit. It was simple and useful, but limited.
Our team has worked around a clock exploring various industry best practices and designed a very flexible and powerful, yet simple instrument — Analytics. The aforementioned limitations of the previous Positions feature were conquered and a set of new tools have been developed.

Getting started
The analytics section is made up of three sections: Positions, Asset Performance and Pair Performance.
1. Positions: Shows all positions for each trading pair for the chosen period, an upgrade of the previous Positions section as a more flexible and robust feature. There are nine columns in the section:

PAIR — trading pair that the trader has traded.
SIDE — direction of the trade (buy or sell).
ROE% — the percentage of return on equity, comparing the AVERAGE PRICE against the current market price and displaying the percentage difference between the two.
If the position is green (positive in the Buy direction), it means that the trader would be in profit if the position were to be closed, as the current price is higher than the average buying price. However, if the position is green in the Sell direction if the current price is lower than the average selling price.
PNL — the value of your profits or losses in the Quote asset (second asset in the pair).
AVERAGE PRICE — SUM (total amount of quote asset) divided by QUANTITY (total amount of base asset). If the average buying price in the Buy direction is below the current market price, selling those assets will result in profit, meaning that the trader bought the asset cheaper than the current price.
If the average selling price in the Sell direction is above the current market price, it means the trader has sold an asset at a higher price.
CURRENT PRICE — current market price for one unit of the Base asset in units of Quote asset.
QUANTITY — the total amount of the Base asset (the first asset in the pair) that has been bought/sold.
SUM — the total amount of Quote asset (the second asset in the pair) that has been bought/sold (in return for the Base asset).
OPERATIONS — total count of trading operations executed in that direction during the chosen period.
Example 1: Long position
A trader has purchased 1 Bitcoin for 50,000 USDT on December 15th, 2021 and two days later, the trader is looking to find out what the current position is. The trader needs to enter the “Start Date” on the “Search” card — located at the top of the Analytics page. In this case, the date will be 12/15/2021. Since the user bought (in order to sell it at a higher price, later on, the side will be Buy. Positions will automatically show that the average price will be 50,000. Quantity will be 1, Sum 50,000, Operations is 1. If the current price happens to be 48,000 USDT, the PNL should be equal to ‘-2000’ (the trader is currently losing 2000 USDT on that position), and ROE% will be ‘-4%’.
2. Asset Performance: Shows the performance per each asset that has been traded during the chosen period, even if it has been traded on multiple different pairs. There are four columns in this section:

ASSET — names the symbol, that has been traded.
CHANGE — shows the deposit change as a final result of all trades where this asset has been involved.
BTC VALUE — shows the deposit change in terms of BTC.
USD VALUE — shows the deposit change in terms of USD.
A positive change (in green) means the trader has increased the deposit by this value. A negative change (in red) means the deposit has decreased by the amount shown.
3. Pair Performance: Shows the final gain or loss for base and quote assets independently as a result of all trades performed during the chosen period. There are five columns in this section:

PAIR — names the symbol, that has been traded.
BASE — shows the deposit change as a final result of all trades where this asset has been involved.
QUOTE — the second symbol of the pair, shows how much of the quote asset has been gained or lost as a result of all trades during the chosen period.
BTC VALUE — shows the deposit change in terms of BTC.
USD VALUE — shows the deposit change in terms of USD.
A positive number (in green) means the trader has gained this amount. A negative number (in red) means the trader has lost this amount.
Note that Pair Performance measures the performance of both assets (base and quote) independently.
Lastly, using the Search tool, the trader can specify the exact period for which analytics should be calculated. Additionally, the trader may specify a particular Symbol (asset) to narrow the output.

Here are some other definitions traders should be aware of, in the Analytics feature:
Symbol — a particular symbol that should be present in a trading pair, allows for narrowing of the analytics.
Start Date — the date of when the trader entered the position.
End Date — the date of when the trader has closed the position (or the current date if the position is still open).
Refresh button — refreshes all data used by analytics.
